My name is Phil Webb ASWPP. So very proud to be an award-winning, published, full-time, professional Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer. I live with my family and our Cocker Spaniel in the Cotswold town of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.
Because Cheltenham is my home town, the majority of the weddings I photograph are in and around Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. I am so fortunate to call Gloucestershire my home. As a wedding photographer who loves the charm of the Cotswolds, it is a pleasure to capture so many wedding celebrations in this beautiful and picturesque part of the country. I do travel beyond Gloucestershire and enjoy photographing weddings for couples anywhere in the UK.

My approach to photographing a wedding is relaxed, unobtrusive and creative. Your wedding day will be, without doubt, one of the most special and best days of your life. I will fully support you both and will be fully committed to working for you and only you on your big day.
My promise to you (as it has been for every couple I have ever worked with) is that I will do my absolute best for you and give you 100% of me on your big day. I will give you everything I have to ensure you have the best possible wedding photographs of your big day. I absolutely love what I do and love being able to produce great creative images with fantastic couples.
I do not employ other people to photograph or edit weddings. Couples who book me do so based on the style and the quality of my work. When you book me, it will be me who photographs and edits your wedding pictures.

I capture weddings the way they really happen, full of laughter, love, and anticipating the moments most people do not see coming. Most of the day I am in “documentary mode” capturing moments as they happen, no scripts, minimal posing (or no posing, completely up to you) just real life.
During the daytime part of the wedding I focus on using the ambient light that is available to keep things looking natural. Later in the day I like to get a little more creative with light, at the first dance, the party, or some evening shots with a little added light for a more creative/cinematic look.
One of my favourite times is when the sun starts to go down. The light gets really soft and golden, and that is when we can create some very special pictures. Together we can create a unique Sundown Shot, a beautiful night time moment frozen in time.
The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP) has awarded me an Associateship qualification because of the quality and high standard of my work. The SWPP believe a member who has the qualification ASWPP (Associateship) displays a high degree of technical ability and also portrays imagination and creativity in execution and presentation. Only the top 10% of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers in the UK have been awarded an Associateship. I am one of only two wedding photographers in Gloucestershire with an Associateship in wedding photography.
I have been a regional finalist (South West of England) in The Wedding Industry Awards’ wedding photography category 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020.

Before your big day, my suggestion to all couples would be for us to meet up to chat through the plans and timings for your wedding day. I am more than happy to meet up with couples at my home in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. We can chat through your priorities, your must-haves and anything else I need to be aware of. For the vast majority of your wedding day, I will be capturing natural, unscripted moments, essentially anticipating moments.

A: Yes, I’m up for travelling beyond Gloucestershire and would love to photograph couples on their wedding day anywhere in the UK. We’ll sort the logistics beforehand, but I’ll bring the same care and style no matter where your wedding day is happening.
